Add Value to Your Home

Many people decide to buy property for different reasons, but most people have one thing in common, and that is to add value to their home, whether that be through rising house prices over time or making changes to their home in order to increase its value. Therefore, property for most people is a good choice for investment, and there are lots of ways you can develop your property to see a price increase and of course an increase on your investment. Adding value to your home also helps to gain a quick house sale in the future, making it much more desirable to prospective purchasers. The other thing to consider is that with problems in the economy and uncertainty with employment, you can’t just sit back and wait for house prices to rise and your investment to flourish, you need to make certain changes if you want to see a good return on your money.

One of the easiest and best ways to increase the value of our home is to get a loft conversion. These can add a whopping 12% onto the price of your house and are less disruptive than many other renovations and in the process gives you extra space with the potential of an extra bedroom, bathroom or even both! Adding extra space to any part of your home tends to add more value to any home, whether you choose to get a loft conversion or a full blown extension. Another very good way of increasing your floor space and adding value is to get a conservatory, but the addition of value varies depending on the type of conservatory you get. One that is more in keeping with the rest of the exterior is worth much more than a UPVC building that looks like it is just leaning against the property, so be sure to get the right builder in and get the job done properly if you are serious about adding value. But essentially any kind of conservatory or extension is likely to score brownie points with prospective buyers in the future, as it is more desirable and likely to help you sell property quick.

If your home has a garage, then it is probably better to convert it into more useful living space than keep it as a storage area. Most people don’t tend to use their garages for their intended purpose of housing a car and they don’t tend to attract buyers the same way as they have in the past. Many people would rather have useful extra living space than a garage. And if they want to store tools they tend to buy a shed! And finally by enhancing the exterior of your home you can surprisingly add value to your home with ease. Whether that is changing the windows, painting the exterior or revamping the garden, an appealing frontage to your home can be the biggest selling point of your home, making it attractive and desirable to anyone that pulls up on your drive, helping you to achieve that super quick home sale.

Our sale completed last Friday and I have to say we were very impressed with the whole service we received.
Just a very quick message to say I have now received your bank transfer of £10,000, thankyou so much! I must say I am incredibly impressed with your business model to date, and the concept in general is a stroke of pure genius and hopefully the way forward for more people to sell in the future. And you personally, of course, made what could have been a rather tedious and unpleasant process much more palatable - and I am supremely confident that you have a very bright future ahead of you Sam, richly deserved. With very best wishes
Valuers did not turn up for appointments, survey took two weeks to carry out, over a month from first contact to initial payment. Not a 7 day no hassle service at all, we wait to see how the assisted sale will pan out, but not optimistic.
