Cormac Henderson

Founder/CEO

Cormac began his career working for a global FMCG firm in London and Melbourne. Realising the property sector was his true passion, he founded NPT in 2008 when the fast property sale sector was in its infancy. Now a recognised leader in the property sector, Cormac has given his voice to industry publications to discuss the problems inherent in the traditional housing market.

In addition to the day-to-day running of National Property Trade, Cormac has been heavily involved in ensuring the regulation of the Accelerated Sales industry. He was consulted extensively during the drafting of the industry code of conduct implemented by The Property Ombudsman in 2014. The same process led to the establishment of the industry representative body, the National Association of House Buyers, of which NPT became a founding member.

Cormac graduated from Trinity College, Dublin. Cormac enjoys outdoor sports and has represented Ireland as a national swimmer. He is a qualified scuba diving instructor and is also a keen traveller, having backpacked around the world twice! Cormac is married with a young son.

Shane Miller-Bourke

CFO/CIO

Shane spent 12 years working for a major bank in London, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong before moving into the property sector, after recognising the scale of the opportunity represented by the Accelerated Sales market. As a result, Shane founded his own private property investment vehicle and subsequently joined NPT in 2015 as CFO / CIO.

Shane graduated with a BSc. in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Cass Business School.

In his free time, Shane volunteers with a children’s literacy programme at a primary school in his local area, and enjoys rugby, football and golf. Shane is married and has three children.

Samar Shaheryar

COO

Samar joined NPT following a varied career; she spent a decade in investment banking, running her own desk at a major financial institution. After this, Samar founded and ran her own e-commerce social enterprise for ﬁve years, giving her extensive experience across all aspects of business operations including marketing, data analytics, business development and ﬁnancial management.

Alongside this, Samar has taken an active role in promoting entrepreneurial endeavours. She was the vice-chair of the Women Entrepreneur’s Network of Hong Kong.

Samar studied International Relations at Tufts University in Boston.

Outside of professional endeavours, Samar is active in fundraising and charitable work. Samar co-founded the youth fundraising arm of Developments in Literacy USA, raising funds to educate girls in rural Pakistan by targeting young professionals. She is also a school Governor in the UK. Samar is married with three children.
